This website is operated by Vancouver Stairs (a trade name of Jeff and Simon Iron Works Ltd.) at 2544 Douglas Road, Unit 106, Burnaby, BC V5C 5B4. By accessing this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Information accuracy
Pricing, timelines, and code references on this site are provided for general guidance and are not a binding quotation. All projects require a site visit and written contract before fabrication begins. Code interpretations are provided as general guidance — the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) governs permit decisions in your municipality.
Not engineering or professional advice
Vancouver Stairs (Jeff and Simon Iron Works Ltd.) is a fabrication and installation contractor — not a licensed engineering firm and not a professional engineer (P.Eng) registered in British Columbia. Nothing on this site constitutes structural engineering advice, a building code determination, or a professional opinion. Structural design, code compliance review, Schedule B Letters of Assurance, and permit-related engineering must be performed by a P.Eng licensed in BC. For workplace access stairs, WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation requirements must be confirmed with WorkSafeBC directly.

Submitting an inquiry form does not constitute a contract, reservation of capacity, or commitment to pricing. Vancouver Stairs will follow up to confirm scope before any agreement is formed.
